Frequently asked questions

Queen Elizabeth National Park FAQs

Is Queen worth it if we already have Bwindi?

Yes if you want savannah and a boat. Skip it only on a very short gorilla-focused trip.

Mweya or Ishasha?

Mweya for the channel and classic drives. Ishasha for tree-climbing lions and a cleaner link to southern Bwindi.

Are tree-climbing lions guaranteed?

No. They are a regular highlight, not a performance. We plan the morning, not a promise.

Kyambura or Kibale for chimps?

Kibale is the stronger chimpanzee destination. Kyambura is a dramatic add-on if you are already in Queen and skip Kibale.

How many nights?

Two for the north and the boat. Three if Ishasha is included as its own base.
