Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. Optional afternoon activities include nature walks, birdwatching, or cultural visits to nearby communities.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking – Return to Kampala

After breakfast, embark on a golden monkey trekking experience, exploring the park’s bamboo forests to observe these playful primates in their natural habitat. The trek usually lasts 2–4 hours, offering fantastic photo opportunities.

After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch, then begin the drive back to Kampala, Entebbe, or Kisoro, stopping for photos along the scenic route. Arrive in the late afternoon or evening, concluding your 3-day Mgahinga gorilla and golden monkey safari.
