Karamoja Safari Uganda

Day 1: Arrival in Kampala – Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park

Pick up from Kampala or Entebbe and take a domestic flight or drive to Kidepo Valley National Park, Uganda’s most remote park. Along the way, marvel at the northeastern countryside and traditional homesteads.

Check into your lodge and enjoy the evening sunset over the savannah.

Day 2: Kidepo Valley Game Drives

Day 4: Bokora Wildlife Reserve Exploration

Spend the day on game drives and wildlife tracking. Spot Uganda kobs, oribi, hartebeest, lions, hyenas, and elephants. Birdwatchers will enjoy over 400 species, including lappet-faced vultures, kori bustards, and crowned cranes.

Optional hiking and photography opportunities are available in Bokora’s rocky landscapes and savannah plains.

Day 5: Mount Moroto Trek & Scenic Exploration

Transfer to Mount Moroto, the highest peak in Karamoja. Hike partway up for panoramic views of the Karamoja region, spotting wildlife along the way. The area offers a unique combination of rocky terrain, savannah, and cultural heritage.

Return to your lodge in the evening and relax after a day of adventure.

Day 6: Return to Kampala

After breakfast, begin the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, stopping along the way for photos and cultural encounters. Arrive in the late afternoon or evening, concluding your 6-day Karamoja Safari Adventure.
