Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Depart Kampala or Entebbe in the morning and drive north through Uganda’s countryside. Make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a walking safari and rhino tracking experience. Have lunch en route, then continue to Murchison Falls National Park, entering through Kichumbanyobo Gate. Stop briefly at the Top of the Falls for stunning views where the Nile crashes through a 7-meter gorge.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Nile Boat Safari

Rise early for a sunrise game drive on the northern bank of the park. Spot herds of elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeests, leopards, and more. Return for lunch at your lodge.

In the afternoon, enjoy a 3-hour boat cruise on the Nile River to the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls. Look out for hippos, Nile crocodiles, and water birds along the banks.
