Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Very early breakfast at your hotel and be ready for pick up by our company tour guide to transfer to Bwindi forest. En route to the Park, you will stopover for souvenir shopping at the equator and you will get a chance of witnessing the water experiment at this very spot. After the water experiment, you will proceed to Mbarara town for Lunch. You will proceed with your journey after lunch and reach Bwindi in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Resort or Mahogany Springs or Gorilla Forest Camp (Luxury)/Lake Kitandara or Buhoma Lodge (Midrange)/Buhoma Community Bandas or wagtail eco safari camp (Budget)
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla tracking
After breakfast, you will report to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about the mountain gorilla trackers code of conduct. Later you will penetrate through the impenetrable forest in search for a given mouton gorilla group. After the wonderful gorilla watching, rest have lunch and in the afternoon have an optional community walk to the Batwa pygmies community. Retire for dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Resort or Mahogany Springs or Gorilla Forest Camp (Luxury)/Lake Kitandara or Buhoma Lodge (Midrange)/Buhoma Community Bandas or wagtail eco safari camp (Budget)
Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, you will transfer back to Kampala with en route stopover in Mbarara town for Lunch.
